This is a specialist practice for those who wish to embrace their natural hair texture with a healthy, low-fuss, iron-free routine. These efforts enthusiastically support individuals of Multiracial, Middle Eastern, and South Asian heritage. Those who have been told their hair is 'difficult' or have long struggled with dense, multi-textured or fine hair concerns are both welcomed and encouraged.
Tucked inside Smith Street icon Wabi Sabi, the private practice studio provides a one-to-one setting for thorough consultancy and undivided attention to details. Its primary function is to be sensory-friendly and supportive for those who are introverted, anxious, or neurodiverse. Tom's studio also provides an emotionally safe space for those with sensitive health situations.
The work performed here is renowned for growing out exceptionally well over an extended period of time. Often a bit longer and cut dry, the shapes are designed to be high-functioning, providing meticulous density distribution for increased body, texture, and movement. The consistent themes are considered, contemporary and collaborative. The finish is low-fuss. There are no irons or round brushes. The goal is to ensure the cut performs well at home with your usual efforts, if any. Average return interval is 3 to 6 months. Product Usage Information
Tom does not follow or advocate for the CGM. This is a variable approach practice which encourages people to embrace their natural beauty in a way that best suits individual lifestyle needs and aesthetic preferences. Cuts are often performed dry, but not exclusively. As curls will need to be discussed and analysed, it is essential to arrive with your hair adequately prepared in a natural state.
